Wood fire and a glacier view
Valais cooking from the village and the alp, over larch wood. On the terrace or in the old parlour.
The house
A parlour that has kept people warm for three generations
Berghaus Alpenblick stands at the upper edge of Lärchenegg, where the path to the alp begins. Grandfather set up the first parlour in 1962, and we still cook on the same wood stove today.
Meat and cheese come from the farmers in the valley; the bread we bake ourselves. The menu follows the seasons: barley soup and raclette in winter, apricots and herbs in summer.
